Panasonic R5 : Chase & Company, The latest techonlogy straight from Japan
Let's start at the beginning. The two things that make my blogging and mobile blogging possible: my miniature laptop from Japan, and my camera phone.
I bought my Panasonic Let's Note R5 from Chase and Company. It was my dream laptop, and I am happy to report, after purchasing, it still is. I plan on having it for a long time, so I topped it off with 1 gb RAM and 120gb hard drive, which tacked on extra cost, but will hopefully keep me spinnng along at a good rate. Since I am a photo blogger, I wanted plenty of room to keep my entire library of photos with me.
At 2.2 pounds, I never hesitate to throw this laptop in my backpack/gymbag/handbook, and with its Panasonic Toughbook lineage, it takes quite well to being tossed around. It passes the portable, durable, and endurance tests. The battery is rated at 10.5 hours, so a good 7 hours in real life. Sweet. Plus, the ac adapter is quite and light weight as well.
My one grope is the sound, which I can' seem to get above a whisper with every control turned up, so I have to listen to all the YouTube videos on headphones.
